Eclipse #9800

The Eclipse #9800 Permanent Automatic Flushing Station improves and maintains water quality by flushing less water more often on a scheduled basis to raise chlorine residual levels and remove aging water before disinfection byproducts form. The 9800 comes standard with a 2” automatic valve with a pressure rating of 220 PSI and flow rates up to 200 GPM. A 1” model (9800A) is also available with flow rates up to 65 GPM and a pressure rating of 150 PSI. Unit designed for cold climates taps directly to the main with a 2” tap. The solenoid-operated diaphragm valve opens and closes slowly to avoid water hammer issues and flushed water discharges below grade into a storm/sanitary sewer, culvert, or drainage ditch. The Eclipse #9800 is non-freezing and can be used year-round. Sampling point bibb comes standard with flushing unit housed inside a lockable UV resistant enclosure. Maintainable from above grade – no digging required.
